Spiritual Gifts are

The Spiritual Gifts
Spiritual gifts are tools God gives Christians to do the work of the ministry- To Fulfill “The Great Commission” to Reach, Baptize,
and teach and to Minister to one another. Every Christian receives at least one gift at birth. Spiritual gifts are not rewards and are not Natural Talents, are not a place of service, are not an age-group ministry, they are not a special ministry. They express themselves through various ministries which, in turn, accomplish a variety of results. A spiritual gift is the primary channel by which the Holy Spirit ministers through the believer.
Reverend Victor F. Pronesti, MDiv. is a
“Servant of Jesus Christ.” its a divineness capacity of Service to God and he gives you a divineness desire to perform the duties of that gift.

The Parables of Jesus Christ

The Parables of Jesus make up a crucial part of the Bible.  Jesus had the wisdom to simplify “The Profound Spiritual Truths he needed to share with humanity in the form of relatable stories that are easy to understand. A Parable  is a tale about a simple, common subject to illustrate a more profound, valuable moral lesson.  “Parable” means a placement side by side for comparison.  Sometimes, The Gospel Authors begin a parable with an analogy, such as “The Kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out of town to hire laborers for as Vineyard.” (Matthew 20:1). OR Jesus may provide an example from everyday life to convey spiritual truth, such as the Parable of the Good samination to emphasize.

Love and mercy, or the parable of the friend at midnight to show persistence in progress. A parable utilizes the full story to produce the spiritual lesson, whereas a proverb, metaphor, simile, or figure of speech usually centers on a word, phrase, or sentence. Discover the
many parables of Jesus from the books of Matthew, Mark And Luke in the collection of Bible verses.

The Parable of the Speck an The Log”
– Matthew 7:1-5

“Do Not Judge, or you too will be judged for in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the Speck in sandust in your Brother’s eye and
pay no attention to the plank in your eye?
How can you say to your brother, “Let me take the Speck out of your eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You Hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, And then you will see clearly to remove the Speck from your brother’s eye.

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

The Parable of The Good Samaritan is a story told by Jesus in the Bible’s Gospel of Luke.

The Story:

A traveler is attacked by robbers and left half dead on the road. A priest and a Levite pass without helping, but a Samaritan stops and cares for him. The Samaritan bandages the man’s wounds, pours oil and wine on him, puts him on his donkey, takes him to an inn, and pays for his care.

The Meaning:

The Parable is about showing mercy to others, and the Samaritan is the neighbor figure. The Parable has been interpreted in many ways, including as an example of Jesus’ ethics, or as an allegory with the Samaritan representing Jesus Christ.

The Phrase:

The phrase “Good Samaritan” comes from this Parable, and it refers to someone who helps a stranger.

The Location:

The Parable is told in Luke 10:25-37.

The Inspitation:

The Parable has inspired many works of art, including paintings, sculptures, poetry, and film.

The Hospitals:

Many hospitals and charitable organizations are named after The Good Samaritan

   Luke 10:25-37

One one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus.

“Teacher,” he asked, “What must I do to inherit eternal life”?

“What is written in the law”? He replied. “How do you read it”?

He answered, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.”

“You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus,”And who is my neighbor.”

In reply Jesus said:”A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaaving him half dead.

A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.

So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

But a Samaratin, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.

He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine.

Then he put the man on his donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.

The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper, “Look after him,” He said, “And when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expence you may have.”

“Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers”?

The expert in the lawreplied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.

 What Is God’s Grace?

God’s grace is a gift of divine favor and love that is freely open to people, undeserved, and cannot be earned.

It is part of God’s character that is described in the Bible.

Grace is a spontaneous gift that can take the form of:

Clemency

A share in God’s divine life.

The influence of God that operates in people to regenerate or strengthen them.

The Bible describes God as gracious and many Bible verses reflect on the significance of God’s grace.

For example, in Acts 15:11, Peter says that salvation can only be obtained through God’s grace in Jesus Christ.

THE GREAT COMISSION

The Great Commission is a series of passages in the Bible’s Gospel of Matthew that instruct Jesus’s disciples to spread the Christian Gospel to all nations:  Matthew 28:16-20

Jessus tells His followers to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in tne name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  Matthew 28:16-20

Jesus’s final words include the command to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

PUTTING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

“Finally be strong in the lord and His mighty power, put on the full armor of God so that, you can take your stand against the devils schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of god, so that when the dog of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything to stand.
Stand firm then, wear the belt of truth buckled around your waist, and the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the Gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming  of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the wear of God.
And pray to the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests, with this in mind be alert and always keep on prayers for all the lords people. EPHESIANS 6:10.18
The armor of God is made up of several pieces, each with its own meaning:
1. BELT OF TRUTH: A complete belief in God’s truth and power.

2. BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: A right relationship with God and his character.

3. SHOES OF GOSPEL OF PEACE: A steady footing in life, provided by god’s peace.

4. SHIELD OF FAITH: Placing faith over fear and courageously letting faith rise up.

5. HELMET OF SALVATION: Renewing own minds and confidence in life through God.

6. SWORD OF SPIRIT: God’s word, which is ised to attack the enemy.
The idea of putting on the armor of God is a reminder that christians face spiritual bottles and that God provides protection. It can also help christians keep God at the forefront of their thoughts.

Rev. Victor Pronesti, MDiv.
Spiritual Counselor
I am a servant to Jesus Christ. My name is Reverand Victor Pronesti, MDiv. I have a Masters of Theology and a Masters Degree in Divinity specializing in Spiritual Counseling from a local seminary. I have been a minister for over twenty years. I served three churches in my ministry. I have served as a chaplin for eight years at a local hospital. I have served as a hospice minister ministering to the sick, dying and their families during their time of grief for ten years. I believe that religion, faith, and spirituality are essential sources of strength for many clients. As a therapist, I offer sensitivity, and willingness to integrate and acknowledge to the client's faith and religious beliefs into the theraputic process helps clients to trust me.

I wanted to share my testimony with you.

I was born and raised as a Catholic. I grew up living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I attend a Catholic grade school and high school.

After I graduated high school I attended Temple University and received my Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering.

After I received my degree, I starting working in corporate America in the Engineering Consulting business. I worked as an Engineer and eventaully as a Project Manager for 30 years.

During this time I never had a relationship with Jesus Christ or feel the need to have Him in my life. I did not have a relationship with Him for many years.

My wife and I were married in July 1996. We have been blessed to have been married for 29 years.

My wife and I eventually moved to Chester County, Pennsylvania. We lived for many years.

My wife and I never had a relationship with Jesus Christ for many years.

My wife and I then went through a tragedy that deeply affected us both.

We both became to feel lost, empty and without meaning in our lives.

We realized we both wanted and needed Jesus Christ in our lives.

Our plan was to visit churches in our area until we found a church we could call home.

The first church we visited was Elverson United Methodist church.

After our first visit we discussed our experience. We both agreed that we liked the Pastor, the Service and the congregation. We then decided to become members of the church.

As time went by I became very close to our Pastor.

At that time I was still feeling empty, lonely and anxious but I had no idea as to why.

I meet with my Pastor many times and we prayed together. With my Pastor’s help we discerned that God was calling me into the ministry.

I decided to attend a local seminary. I received a Masters of Theology degree and a Masters of Divinity degree with a specialty in Spiritual Counseling

.I began to take courses offered by the United Methodist Church.

Once I completed my courses, I became an Ordained Elder.

I was now ready for my first appointment.

My Bishop appointed me as Pastor at Newtown United Methodist Church located in Newtown, Pennsylvania. This was a quarter time appointment. I was still able to work at the Engineering office.

God contined to call me. My bishop then appointed me as Pastor at Ludwig United Methodist Church located in Bainbridge, Pennsylvania. I was still working in the Engineering office.

God continued to call me intp full time ministry. I was appointed as Lead Pastor at Hope United Methodist Church located in Ephrata, Pennsylvania. I then left my Engineering job to go into full time ministry.

I was also called by God to serve as a Chaplain at Reading Hospital located in Reading, Pennsylvania.

I was also called by God to serve as a Hospice Chaplian where I would minister to the sick and the dying and their families.

I was in my ministry as described above for over 25 years.

After these years I felt that God was no longer calling me into ministry.

So for many years I was out of my ministry.

Then God called me into ministry again. This time I describe my calling as being struck by a lightning bolt.

I followed God’s call into ministry and to serve my fellow brothers and sisters as a Spiritual Counselor.
